Time management for anarchists

I found a great little fake powerpoint presentation called Time Management for anarchists (the movie). It's really good and quite funny. Non-powerpoint version here.

It doesn’t make any radically mind-blowing points, but it frames the topic in a way that is quite engaging. Working for yourself is hard, because there is always a tendency to procrastinate. The proposed solution? Write things down, break tasks down into their component parts, commit to external deadlines, and learn to estimate how long it takes you to do things. While this sounds rigid and boring, it is actually liberating (it lets you do a wider variety of tasks, and do things at the last minute without anxiety).

Sort of like getting things done for dummies. I like it.

LOL! The time management movie was funny. It reminded me of Joel's post on software schedules.
